Since starting my career in 1989, I have been involved in international business, local subsidiary management, business growth at Amazon Japan, corporate management, external directorship, and management support.
After business experience around the world including the former Soviet Union/Central Asia, India, Southeast Asia, France, and Romania, he currently provides management support through kenhoshi & Company and also owns and operates Villa M Miyakojima in Miyakojima.

1989-2005
GLOBAL BUSINESS
Engaged in overseas business at JUKI Corporation. Handled ODA and World Bank-related projects in the former Soviet Union and Central Asia, and experienced a turnkey project for the construction of a sewing factory in Siberia. Afterward, through establishing a base in India and handling operations for the Southeast Asia and Middle East regions in Singapore, served as the management of local subsidiaries in France and Romania. Experienced not only business growth overseas, but also the difficulties and failures of corporate turnaround.
2005–2008
MANAGEMENT
Joined Misumi Corporation. After working in international business, managed the Thai subsidiary as Managing Director of MISUMI (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Responsible for overseeing the FA, press, and mold businesses in Thailand, and also served as Deputy General Manager of the Asia FA Business Unit.
2008–2018
AMAZON
Joined Amazon Japan. Expanded my coverage area from Home & Kitchen and was promoted to Senior Manager and Director. As a Leadership Team Member, I managed multiple businesses including Hardlines, Seller Services, and Amazon Business. I spent 10 years involved in Amazon Japan's growth period.

After going independent, he founded kenhoshi & Company in 2019. In addition to management consulting, business support, lectures, and writing, he participates in the management of multiple companies as a COO, outside director, and advisor for listed companies and startups.

Operating Villa M Miyakojima in Miyakojima. Expanding beyond management support into owning and operating our own businesses. We channel our experiences living abroad, traveling, and staying in hotels into actual hospitality ventures.
